It's been absolutely crazy lately. My eyes seriously need a good, in-depth checkup so I've not been at the screen so much... they were really getting hurty. Life has given out a few good beatdowns lately, but I'm starting to bounce back a little... however, it's just in time for me to start working outside and get my plantings started.  I'll be around, but scarce. Wanted to put this up, though, in case anyone runs across me and is wondering where I've gotten off to.  ;)

I'm trying to make... *something* every 1-2 days, for a while. I'm trying to get back into the habit of *producing* - not just *planning* or *thinking* or ... *stalling*.  :D I'm also trying to get into practice with Photoshop, it's been a while.... So!  Backgrounds.  Seemed like a great solution. :) I get to tinker with effects and layers, color schemes, random inspiration and requests.  It's been fun, and I'm going to try to continue. Such a gorgeous morning... heavy, thick, late fog over everything. Unfortunately, that meant it was also cold and damp, and my lungs didn't like it very much.  Neither did my knees.  :)  It was very warm and comfy in bed, and if I'd not been riding with our son to school this morning, I would likely have stayed there. I probably also wouldn't have had the motivation to go out and shoot.  I've discovered a few things... Make sure camera settings are mostly to defaults *before* starting. Never assume the battery gauge is accurate. I need a tripod one of these days. Geese are noisy neighbors. ...Well, I think I knew most of this already,
